Lava

In volcanology, the study of volcanoes, MAGMA is the composition of melted rocks beneath the surface of a terrestrial planet or moon, and LAVA is the magma that has reached the surface by an eruption or through a fracture in the crust.

In every piece of the "LAVA" collection by Kai Nehoray®, the inner design represents THE MAGMA IN US, our inner world. Our emotional life, feelings and desires. Just like magma, everything under the surface.

While the outer design represents THE LAVA ON US, our outer world and identity. The essence that we shine out into the universe. It represents the vital force that drives us to seek the highest expression of our true selves. How we experience life and express our individuality.

When making Lava art pieces, MICA pieces are created from the middle design that remains between the lava (outer design) and magma (inner design). They represent the different compositions of lava, our personal traits.
